our residential DSL access! What is DSL? DSL, or Digital Subscriber Line, is
a new and exciting way to utilize your existing copper telephone lines and deliver high
speed Internet connections. It works like your existing, slow dial-up modems but
without the dial-up and slow parts. With DSL your connection to the Internet is
"always on". We currently offer DSL access in many areas with more being

Every Full Radius residential DSL plan offers a
complete Internet suite, with both Netscape and Microsoft Internet Explorer web browsers
as well as FTP services. All DSL accounts also include space to build a personal Web
site!

a day!
All Full Radius DSL Access accounts include the
following:
- A full-service ADSL connection giving you access to
e-mail, Web browsing, ftp and ICQ
- Dynamically assigned IP address
- Support for a single computer connected to the
Internet. Multiple computers wishing to get a DSL connection will need to check out
our Business DSL packages
Residential DSL Plans
There are many different flavors of DSL technology
depending on many different factors. If you'd like to learn more about DSL in

You'll find it filled with information which can explain all about this new and
exciting technology.
For our residential customers we chose to go with
ADSL. What does this mean to you? ADSL was originally designed by the
telephone companies to provide video-on-demand to compete with the cable television
providers. As it turns out, this new technology also allows you to get connected to
the Internet at incredibly high speeds over the same old slow telephone lines that you
have been using all along for your modem! ADSL is faster getting data from the
Internet (downloading) then it is sending data from your computer to the Internet
(uploading). This works out well for the typical residential user since most of the
data is usually downloaded from the Internet to the computer (like with Web browsing).
